Empty and reinsert drip tray and waste container (CVA 7000)
Empty and refit the drip tray and the waste container appears on the coffee machine display (CVA7000). The message is displayed even though the drip tray and waste container have been emptied and reinserted.
The drip tray contacts are soiled.
Clean the contacts (metal discs) and the space between them carefully, e.g. using a brush. Dry all parts thoroughly.
The contacts will not be able to detect that the drip tray is full if they are damp or dirty. Check the contacts and the area around them once a week.
The magnet in the waste container has come loose and is no longer in place.
Contact Miele Customer Service to order a new waste container.
