Wuhan University Hospital is an important component of the dental care provision for the whole of the region. It is not without reason that the Wuhan University Hospital of Stomatology is one of merely five hospitals in the whole of China that is included in the list of first class centres for state-of-the-art dental care (Grade 3, Class A).

The Wuhan University Hospital of Stomatology has more than 400 treatment places and can accept 150 patients on an outpatient basis. As an academic teaching and research hospital for dental, oral and maxillo-facial surgery, it is one of the oldest and most revered universities in China.
