With frost free refrigeration appliances there is no build-up of frost and ice on food or in the appliance, eliminating the need to defrost the appliance. It works by circulating cool air around the cabinet. This picks up moisture which condenses and freezes on the evaporator. Heat from the compressor melts it from time to time and drains the condensate away.

If the door is slammed shut you need not worry about bottles and jars falling over. The SoftClose door mechanism is designed to stop the door at the last moment, leaving it to gently close on its own. When the door opening angle is less than 30° it will close by itself, even with the door shelves fully loaded.
