All W 5000 washing machines feature our patented honeycomb drum with a 7 kg load capacity which makes it ideal for households with large amounts of laundry. Even with a full load, the laundry has ample space to tumble freely, resulting in fast wetting and an even distribution of detergent. The unique honeycomb structure creates a thin film of water which gently cushions the laundry away from the drum.

Our patented honeycomb drum incorporates drum ribs which have been further improved following the Miele promise of delivering the gentlest possible garment care. This unique drum is designed with softly contoured curves ensuring that the laundry glides gently over them.
