The History

Miele Ireland was founded in 1984 to meet a need for high quality, high-end, household appliances. In 1998, when Miele Ireland opened its head office on Broomhill road in Tallaght at an investment of £1.25m, it represented a major contribution to the Irish market. On the 16th of October 2009, Miele launched its new showrooms and corporate offices positioned on Bianconi Avenue, Citywest Business Campus, Dublin 24. Today’s kitchen occupies a focal point in many Irish households – a place where families gather and people entertain. As such people want to invest in quality appliances with a timeless aesthetic appeal. More than 20 years on, Miele continues to cater to Irish tastes for appliances that feature the best in design, technology and craftsmanship, with a reputation for reliability.

The Heritage

Miele is a German manufacturer of high quality domestic appliances and commercial equipment with its head office and production plants based in Germany. It was founded in 1899 by Carl Miele and Reinhard Zinkann and has always been a family-owned, family-run company.
Since the founding days, its guiding motto has always been "Forever Better". In keeping with this credo, Miele is renown for constant improvement in designing and manufacturing appliances.
